Heather Dexter is a Board-Certified Traditional Naturopathic Doctor with over 15yrs of experience in nurturing women in their childbearing years and mothering others through inner child work and pediatrics. Heather is a Reiki Master Teacher and Trauma Sensitive Therapeutic Yoga Instructor.
“Holding space for hundreds of families in their most sensitive and vulnerable times has allowed me to witness innate wisdom awaken in deep and powerful ways. When families feel unconditional acceptance and support, no matter where they stand in their beliefs, limitations are eased and the process of unveiling subconscious programs and supporting them happens naturally.”
Heather strives to empower through education, encouraging others to tune into their inner voice, Remembering and Reconnecting with who they are.
Heather has been creating classes, coursework, workshops and virtual learning experiences since 2003. It only seemed natural to step into the fire and begin creating Retreats for Women to Heal in Community.

Michelle Barber is the owner of Elements of Health, in Grand Rapids Michigan. As a naturopathic doctor and therapeutic bodywork practitioner with over 20 years of practice in the wellness space, she weaves together her education and experience to create sacred and potent containers to support women in walking their own transformative journeys.
Her inspiration for hosting women’s retreats arose from her own retreat experience in Sedona, where she participated in a fire-walking ceremony that ignited a profound shift in her life. Feeling deeply inspired she knew that she wanted to facilitate similar moments of growth and connection for other women.
She loves learning, travel and being in nature, which continually inspires her work.
Currently training to be a Guanjing Method Teacher, she is excited to integrate this powerful movement method into our retreat.

My healing began when I started to explore food as Medicine. As I built an integral relationship with food, I found myself synergistically building a conscious connection with the cycles of Mother Earth and attuning to how my body mirrors those cycles. Through this, I fell in love with cooking & sharing this wisdom that lights me up. Each meal is seasonally curated, built with the intention of nourishment, specified to the revitalization of each retreat member’s whole being, & infused with love + song.
Xandra’s su chef is more in service of the spirit rather than the food. His name is Rangi. You’ll find him holding space when space is needed & inviting play when he feels like we need a reminder. He & I have been in service for many lifetimes together & we are so grateful to have another go.
And yes he is hypoallergenic friend

We will be using as much organic and locally raised grocery supplies as possible to create nourishing, healing food. Food is a conduit for love and possesses the power to heal us in profound ways, Body, Mind, and Spirit. We will have an in-house chef to provide, Friday Dinner and Snacks, Saturday & Sunday Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner and Snacks, and Monday Breakfast and a snack to go. Always fresh fruit & drinks for your enjoyment.

We are able to accommodate, most dietary concerns. Please share with us your needs and we will create nourishing and love-filled meals for you to enjoy.

This Sacred Women's Reclamation will be held in and around an Island Lodge sitting on a 12acre island on the Rock River in Dixon, Illinois. Weather permitting we will be in and/or on the water; kayaking, tubing or rafting.
